MIA’S POV: I was drowning in the pool. Same as the one Elijah had in his house. I could see the salty water trying to make its way to my stomach but my hands were bound. They were tied. To something. I don’t know what it was but I couldn’t gesture up to loosen them. I wanted to scream for help, for survival but couldn’t. I could see the reflection of Elijah and his Dad in the water as if they were watching me from above and they were smirking as if enjoying my slow death but no one came forward to unbound me.
