For a moment I thought it was my mere unconsciousness but then another one shook me hard enough to uncover the blanket of slumber off my eyes. My eyes popped open in an instant as I sat up on the squeaking bed. Rubbing my eyes I look to my left to find my mom whimpering sitting up on the bedside, face facing the cupboard, and back facing myself.
