MIA’S POV:
I was sweltering with the panicked and afraid that my secret would come out. Why was I so submissive around him? Why could I just say no? His eyes were focused on mine while his hands were entangled in mine, pointing out the fact that there was no way out of it except for God’s way.
“Elijah, where are you here with her?” Someone came in front before a word could slip my mouth and end the chapter of our broken love story. He was someone who I saw many times before with Elijah. Seeing him Elijah stood up immediately while I became more anxious and terrified than ever.
“She is Mia. My Mia,” The subtleness in his voice when my name escaped his mouth, soothe the storm brewing inside me. He loved me maybe my identity wouldn’t matter for him. But why risk it what we have.
