Hyde smiled at me.
Because I was so obviously enthralled by him? “Excuse me?” I blushed even harder and could have cursed my fair complexion.
“Chantilly Lace.”
“Oh! Yes, we are.”
Since Chantilly Lace had valet parking, he put the car in park and left the key in the ignition. An attendant came jogging up.
“I’ll take good care of your Mercedes, Mr. Wyndham.”
“Thanks, Chuck. Kipp?”
I scrambled out of the SUV and made myself walk sedately around to where he stood.
