Chapter 21 We stopped at the pharmacy first, and once I had the EpiPen in the mini drawstring backpack the pharmacist was so kind as to provide and slung it over my shoulder, we were ready to leave. Even though I’d been in the hospital for less than twenty-four hours, I was glad to walk through the doors and out into the May sunshine. Hyde insisted on carrying my duffel, and he tossed it onto the backseat. We got in the SUV, and I put the backpack on the floor by my feet.
