I tried to make every minute with Cass count over the next few days. I was only allowed brief moments with her as it was. At the very least, I got to curl up next to her every night. Though she had been going to bed earlier the last couple of days. I was informed this was normal and so was the increase in her appetite that also happened this morning. I told the servants to bring her anything she needed.
They would assume I was spoiling her because she was my woman, but I didn't care what people wanted to think. I was in yet another meeting over war strategy and I could no longer zone out.
