As my body straddled Alex I felt an odd mix of emotions. Part of me was still afraid of him but everything felt so familiar in the best way. The way his body felt and the soft touch of his hands. The way he filled me. My body was in heaven despite everything.
"Cass." My name brought my focus back to his face. He trailed his fingers down from my chin to the new mark on my neck. Something about it had felt different than before and the way his eyes flashed as he looked at it only confirmed that. "I won't let you get away from me again." His words were calm but the underlying threat made my heart jump. Something about it scared me to the core. He was a man pushed to his absolute limit.
