Chapter 4

Alexander When I opened my eyes, Cassandra was gone. I sat up to see that her clothes were also missing. I frowned deeply. When had she left? I was reminded of last night and the way her body had felt. I had been impulsive. I needed release and her body was too tempting to resist. The way she had trembled against me had nearly broken me. To think she had been hiding how big her chest actually was as well. Her body was amazing. I was also reminded of how she had refused to look at me until I ordered her. She had done all of that because it was an order and yet her body enjoyed it very much. Watching her c*m under me was all I needed to push over the edge myself. I wanted more. I looked down to see that my body was reacting to the memory of last night as well. I clicked my teeth in annoyance. If she was still there, I would have used her body for relief once more. I stood from the bed and tried to push those thoughts out of my head. I needed to calm down and get dressed. Normally, a king would have people to dress them but I always hated that. Like I was some doll and not a grown man. I wasn't a child after all. I could dress myself at least. For fancy things, I would have some help, but for everyday wear, I would take care of it. So, when there was a soft knock on my door, I got slightly annoyed. I opened it to find a maid. "Your Highness do you need help get-" I raised my hand to silence her before she could finish her sentence. "No, I don't. You may leave." I said simply and shut the door as she bowed to me. I sighed softly. Once I was dressed and had breakfast, I met my guards out at the carriage. My eyes swept behind it, landing on Cassandra just as she looked down at the ground. I felt a slight stab of anger at that. After everything, she still refused to look at me? If there weren't so many eyes, I would have marched over to her and had a word. Instead, with a soft shake of my head, I climbed into the carriage. When we stopped for lunch, I noticed that Cassandra took a spot as far from my carriage as she could to eat. I grit my teeth in frustration. I turned to the guard who sat with the driver on the carriage. "Swap with her after lunch." I said, to which his eyes flicked to the only female of the party. He nodded and walked over after lunch. I watched as her eyes went wide in slight terror before she nodded. As she walked over she kept her head down. I stepped up into the carriage, stopping midway as she walked to the front. "Cassandra." She froze in her tracks at my voice. "Not there. Inside." She turned to look at my in disbelief as I tilted my head towards the inside of the carriage. I sat down and after almost a minute she finally joined me as the driver shut the door behind her. She sat on the seat opposite from me and her body immediately shrank into it. Almost curling up as her gaze stayed locked to her lap. I smirked softly at the sight of her softly cowering. As we started to move, I said nothing and waited until her tense body started to relax. "When did you leave this morning?" She flinched at my question and bit her bottom lip. "Cassandra. Look at me." With reluctance, she lifted her head and locked those gorgeous eyes on me. She was like a scared rabbit despite being a knight. "At dawn your highness. I tried not to wake you." She said almost as if she was expecting a scolding. I let out a soft breath of exasperation. "You didn't. That's why I asked." I saw the realization fill her face as her cheeks slowly turned red. "Did you not enjoy it as much as you seemed to?" She opened her mouth as if to respond a couple of times like a gasping fish. Finally, she averted her gaze sharply. "This is not the sort of place to discuss such things, your majesty." I grit my teeth slightly in frustration. Somehow, being denied the lovely sight of her eyes was becoming my biggest pet peeve. "Why not?" I reached forward, taking hold of her chin in my right hand and making her turn her face back to me. Her cheeks were bright red at this point. "I think I decide what should be discussed and where Cassandra." She flinched as I said her name and my eyes narrowed softly. "We aren't alone though." Her eyes glanced toward the windows on either side of the carriage. With a small smirk, I let go of her chin. I pulled the curtains on both windows closed and leaned towards her. "How about now?" I saw her try to shrink back away from me again and I reached for her hand. With a sudden pull she wasn't expecting, she was yanked forward and across into my lap. She froze in shock as I placed my hands on her waist. Having her so close again reminded me of the night before. It hadn't been that long and yet I couldn't help but want her again. Perhaps it had been too long since I had someone snuck into my room. A sudden urge overtook me and I reached up for her chin. I pulled her face down and before she could stop me I was kissing her. Her lips were soft and she gasped into my kiss. Suddenly she pulled back and got out of my lap, sitting across from me again. Before I could tell her to get back over here, there was a knock on the roof and I sighed. We were nearly there. As much as I wanted to have my way with her again, it would have to wait until after the meeting. Perhaps on the trip back I would have her join me in my room once more. My eyes swept down her body, briefly thinking about how she had looked naked. I felt my body stir and decided then that I would have to sleep with her again. As the carriage started to slow, I stood and leaned forward, placing my hands on either side of Cassandra on the back of her seat. I watched her eyes go wide and her cheeks flush once more and I smirked softly. I leaned forward to kiss her but she turned her face away. I groaned deeply in frustration. "Cassandra. Kiss me." I said in a tone that left no room for argument. She hesitated briefly before she turned her face back with her eyes shut tight. Not having the time to get upset about that, I pressed my lips against hers once more. This time she didn't try to move away and I licked her bottom lip softly. She flinched but didn't move. I pulled away as I felt the motion of the carriage stop. I licked my lips lightly. That would have to satisfy me for now. When the door of the carriage was pulled open, I stepped out, not bothering to check if Cassandra got out after me. I was approached by several people and normally it would annoy me greatly, but today I was not in too bad of a mood. Satisfying my lust was always a great way to destress from all of the work on my shoulders. What good would a wife do me? Most noblewomen could not match me in that way. Even if they could, I would be all alone on my trips anyway. Having a wife would just slow me down and make me more annoyed with life. Though it was hard to deny the appeal of having a woman, I could go to for s*x whenever I wanted. Perhaps I needed a concubine. My mother would never allow it. Especially because I wasn't even married yet. Maybe I should just pick one of the women my mother liked then? Get married and let her be the queen. Then I could get a few concubines to keep me happy. It was an outdated practice at this point, but it was well within my rights as king to have as many women as I wanted. I would have to make sure grandfather hadn't outlawed it though. Something to check when I get home.
