We were airborne and on our way to Brasilia by seven-thirty the following morning. Teixeira reclined in a comfortable club chair aboard the Foundation’s opulently appointed Gulfstream. “This sure beats standing in long lines in terminal buildings,” he commented. “Amen to that,” I agreed.
