Chapter Two: Geology Mystery Man

Chinx POV

Lily Ann and John was chatting and laughing as we was walking to our first class. I was lost in deep thought. His voice why does it sound so familiar. I got to my first class and shuddered. I hated geology, especially If Ms. riker was in today. She was the meanest person ever, and nobody liked her class. I approach the class and I froze as I saw that it wasn’t Ms. Riker, but the guy I ran into today. Feeling stuck in shock, I feel someone gently shaking me. I shook off my daze and realize it was Jacob, the school football captin. “Uh, You alright?” He asked as I moved out of his way. I politely shook my head yes, and quickly took my seat. Why was he here? Who is he? Then it hit me. He had those mysterious red eyes. The kind that just makes you feel safe. He didn’t seem like a wolf, so I wonder what was he. My heart was racing as I slowly realize that I was staring at him. Snap out of it, I thought to myself.

It turned out that he was Mr. Draig, and he was our new geology teacher. He turned around to look at the class, I could feel him looking at me. I awkwardly shifted in my seat trying to calm my nerves. Why when he looks at me, I start feeling this way. I asked myself. Then that’s when I heard my wolf speak. Is it not that obvious? She asked me as I silently looked down.

I know you can feel it. She growled at me, I felt something. But why? I looked over at lily Ann and John who was already near me, they could see it on my face that something was bothering me. “What’s the matter with you?” Lily Ann asks me while she calmly rubs my back. I didn’t know how to tell her what was wrong. How do you tell someone that your heart beats a little extra when you look at your class speaker.

John could read my emotions and thoughts, his was in shock. He quickly looked at lily Ann and both of their eyes went dark. I knew they was speaking through mind-link, so I politely interrupted them and said “hey guys, it’s not like that I swear”. Lily Ann face expression soften and she sat closer to me, “Tell me when this happened, and how it affected you.” She said.

Chinx POV

I opened my mouth to speak but no words escaped my lips. I wasn’t sure if what I was feeling yet or even why I was. “We was walking in the hallway on to our first class, I accidentally bumped into him from behind, and he was helping me get my stuff..” I stopped mid-sentences.

I just wasn’t ready to tell them that when we locked eyes that the world felt like it stopped, or that I felt something that I never felt before. It was the feeling that Of when someone meets their mate. But how could I have been sure it was him? I had texted my mom and I told her the events of what was happening with me. Nothing could prepare me for what could happen next.
