~Elena~
I marched towards my father's room and found him writing something.
“Did you know Crystal is the devil herself?” Dad remained silent as he continued writing down on his book.
He only lifted his head up slightly for a second and then turned back to his writing.
“Did she tell you what happened? Or did you even know I was attacked by rogues?” I asked my father, my tone fierce.
“Enough!!” dad's voice thundered through the room.
I took a few steps back in fear. I've never seen him so angry.
“You got attacked because you were too foolish and went outside the pack!” Dad continued.
“Yes but Crystal was.. “
“Crystal turned back and went to the castle.” I didn't finish when I heard a stern voice behind me.
Lucy!!
My step mother, and as I call her, a witch in a werewolf clothing.
She swung her long black hair over her ears as she walked past me and sat beside my father.
Her amber eyes and her thick red lipsticks made the face of a witch.
“My daughter realizing she was past the castle boundaries decided to turn back, but you insisted to carry on, so she left you.” my heat twitched, a sudden rage stirring up in me as she spoke.
I clenched my fists tightly, burying all the rage inside.
“That's a lie!!” I yelled out. I wasn't going to stand down and watch her lie to my face and my dad's.
“Elena, watch your tone.” Dad warned, his voice though casual but laced with a certain menace.
“You weren't there, you didn't see what happened.”
I continued completely ignoring my father's warning.
She was the one that insisted we continue and when the rogues attacked us, she deserted me knowing I can't shift!”
“Enough!!” Dad rose up from his seat, and smashed his hands on his desk making a disturbing noise.
I could see the rage in his eyes, if I were a servant or just another werewolf he might have torn me apart already.
“You will not come here and accuse my wife of lying and your sister for deserting you, just to use your inability to shift as an excuse!!”
I was taken back my the vicious tone of my father as he spoke.
“You can't shift because your weak! Now leave!!”
I couldn't believe my ears. Did my own father just call me weak?
In that moment I couldn't even recognize my father anymore. He ahd never spoken to me like this ever.
The corner of my eyes heated up, and soon my vision became blur as the tears rolled down my eyes to my cheeks.
I covered my face and dashed out of my father's room and headed straight for my room.
It has been the theme of most of my nights since Crystal and Lucy entered my life, TEARS.
I laid on my bed, tears dripped at the corners of my eyes, soaking the sheets I laid on.
I drifted off with thoughts about my mom, and now her presence here would have change alot of things.
“Wake up!!” I heard a sudden loud knock on my door that startled me from sleep.
My eyes still heavy with fatigue I reached for the door.
The next second I felt a hard push from Crystal.
Crystal's face was filled with anger, which was quite confusing.
Last time I remembered, she was the one dimmed innocent, and I was the liar and the stubborn one who walked out of the packs boundaries.
What do you want Crystal?”
Crystal marched forward to me, her eyes filled with anger and rage.
“Look Elena, this is the last time you accuse me or my mom for lying.
And try to spoil my name in front of your father, OK?”
I remained silent, looking blankly at her. I couldn't quite believe what sort of a sister, Crystal is.
She probably broke the last strand of relationship I had with my father after leaving me to die at the hands of rogue, yet she still plays the victim.
“Everything I said to your mom and my dad was the truth, you were the liar! You left me there to die…”
“NO I didn't sister. I ran to save myself. It's not my fault your too weak to shift.”
Crystal said, as a light chuckle escaped her lips.
Her words made my blood boil in rage, I couldn't hold myself anymore.
I folded my hands into a fist and took a massive swipe at Crystal.
My punch swept her off her feet as she dropped to the floor in an instant.
“I may not have my wolf yet, but that does not make me weak.”
I snapped back at Crystal, as she laid on the floor, holding her cheeks.
“Punch me all you want. That doesn't change a thing. Your dad and my mom love me, and they hate you!”
Crystal was right about what she just said, hurting her won't change a thing.
“I want you to never show show your face in front of me Crystal, this is the last kindness I'm showing you!”
I warned Crystal, my tone stern. But she just laughed it off.
“Who wants to see your disgusting face?!” Crystal said before storming out of my room.
The next day soon came quickly. Stepping out of my room, there was a certain buzz in the air.
The whole pack house was lively. Everyone was up and about preparing for the arrival of Star raiders pack and their Alpha.
I've heard so much rumors about him. Some say he's young and charming, some say he's old.
But today, I was going to find out. Deep down I anticipated the arrival of their pack hoping I could finally see my mate.
I would die for a mate from the Star raiders pack.
Their male werewolves are all handsome and well built.
And for me, the sooner I get a mate, the sooner I leave this pack, and Crystal behind.
