Tarkik
Laughter, it's all I hear bouncing around in my head. "You think sending her away will stop me?!?" The demon scum yells. All at once I feel his force and my dragons. Though my dragon isnt as strong as the demons its like hes pushing him to the back of my mind, trapping him. It makes me drop to my knees in pain. It must be this way. I will never hurt her no matter what she must run far from these lands. More chuckling it's overwhelming. I finally stand and head back to the celebration and act as if all is well.
When I arrive back at the meeting everything has calmed down since the last time I was here. Most have retired back to their homes. My parents and De's are still here though. When they see me alone, they all have matching faces of confusion.
Someone barrels right into me. Its Apaay, "Where is she?!?" "I dont know she came back ahead of me" I say. "No, you're lying she told me you both are mates, I know how you have been acting to her all this week what did you do Tarkik?" Our parents chose the wrong time to walk up and greet Apaay and I. "She's what?" He says, "Take me to her son now."
"I can't" I say. "She's gone I sent her away, I banished her" "YOU WHAT?!" Alasie her mother says, "Nanook honey please find our daughter, Tarkik how could you?" she says.
I..Im sorry I say and just walk away. Im defeated, her parents will hate me now. Hell the whole village, they all loved her who couldnt? I need some air, I head outside. I hear footsteps catching up with me. Its my father. "Is it true son?" "Yes father" I say. "Then you did what is right, you can never see her again for her safety and ours." "I know" I say as the first tear slips down my cheek. "Oh I dont know" that voice says in my head , "We will see her soon enough." More evil laughter jolts my brain.
