Going for my morning run through the woods to patrol for my people I never expected to come across my mate. Deianira is special, long blue hair, curves in all the right places. Her eyes seem familiar to me like I've seen each color on someone I've come across in the past? Ill have to do more digging. Her being pregnant is just a bonus. I always wanted a big family, many kids. I already am surprisingly okay will her having other mates. I figured once I found my mate I would be possessive. That's not the case with Leith. He was there when I was not. He is helping her get past something very traumatic and I will be right along side him to help him. This journey will be long, even though it took them no time to get to Therian it will take us a week to travel to Audaqior and another to travel to the under. Audaqior is dangerous with rocky terrains and canyons for hundreds of miles. Hardly any water is on there lands. Many species from that kingdom travel here to the springs to gather water. We will climb, we will walk down steep paths. Its quite dangerous for someone with child but I have a few ideas on how to put more protection on our mate. Ill need to speak with the packs alchemist. I couldn't sleep all night worried about Deianira. The little information she had given me at dinner last night along with not being bonded to her, being able to feel she was safe just put me on edge. Every so often id tip toe down the hall as quiet as my six foot four frame would allow and crack the door to the room they picked. Each time she's snuggled up to Leith and she's snoring. So cute, she must be sleeping hard. Every time I did this it would stir her other mate though and he would lock eyes with me and nod as if saying I've got her she's safe. After doing it one last time I find Leith isn't laying down anymore but sitting up on the end of the bed. " I just wanted you to know" he says "I have no problems with you and love being mates. It means more to protect her and little bean. Welcome to the family, if you ever hurt her I will kick your ass." I bark out a laugh forgetting about our sleeping beauty. "Is it morning already?" She says pulling the covers off her form to get up. When she does my new brother and I look at her stomach wild eyed. "Mate didn't you say only a little over a week ago you conceived?" "Yes why..." When she looks at her stomach she screams, eyes wide with uncertainty she says "What's happening?" "I don't know" I say, "We will go to the pack doctor at once." I scoop her up in my arms and carry her to the pack doctors cabin...

"Checking you over everything seems to be okay. Healthy heartbeat, healthy baby. Your looking along the lines of 6 months gestation." "Six months but I only got pregnant over a week ago. How is this possible?" "I've never heard of such thing." Alma the pack doctor says, "but with you not knowing what species you are or what kingdom your from it doesn't surprise me. We need more of your background to answer these questions." "This asshole mate you have must have some powerful swimmers." Everyone glares at me. "What its true, anyway when we reach the under maybe we can have some of those questions answered. It could be from the demon why you progressed in your pregnancy so fast." Her face pales, "Or it has everything to do with what the doc said." I'm such a moron. In trying to lighten the mood and I upset my mate. I awkwardly stand to leave but she darts her hand out and grabs mine. "STAY" "Feisty little mate. I like it." I slip back into my chair beside her and she pats my shoulder. "Good boy." she says, my eyes dart to hers. So she wants to start this playful banter huh? "Ill be a good boy only for you" I wink at her and she goes to stammer out a response but Alma interrupts us. "Would you like to know the s*x of the baby?" We all say yes, "It's a girl." Deianira bursts into tears, Leith and I comfort her. I even feel tears pour down my own cheeks. "This is wonderful news mate," "Yes it is love I cannot wait to spoil our little girl, what will we name her?" We look to our mate for a response but she isn't happy crying anymore. "My father wont be here to see her grow, to watch our family grow. He always wanted grandchildren but that was taken away from him, from me." I scoop her back in my arms and rub her back. "He will always watch over you through the clouds alongside the gods, never have any doubts he sees you and he's gonna be proud of you and our family." I say, Leith nods in agreement. "Your right" her mood changes like the weather. "He is watching over me, us. With everything progressing faster then expected it makes me more then ready to stop Tarkik or that thing inside him, do you think we could save him?" I hesitate to answer but my brother doesn't. "Honestly we don't know love. If we had to choose you or him it will always be you no questions." I wanna ask her more about her first mate. There is obviously history there. Not the right time though, "I guess I should get everything in motion as quickly as possible now. I will gather us supplies and food. You both need new clothes with the climates in Audaqior. Its hotter then here. It will only get hotter once we reach Et It." "Right we will help you" "No," I tell Deianira " You need rest and breakfast, Leith fix our mate some food and prop her up in the bed with many pillows." "I am exhausted, with all the excitement this morning I could sleep for days." I chuckle and sneak a peck on her lips. My lips tingle from only that little contact. "Rest little mate we will wake you when in a bit to go over plans for travel. She's still stunned from the kiss, "Okay" she squeaks. She sure does do that often my cute mouse. I twirl a lock of her hair before turning and leaving the docs cabin. Everything's speeding up, thinking I had days to plan this all when really we might have another night. I can handle it and make it happen for her...
