We're Going To Alaska

        I was so in love with this wolf, it was starting to get on my nerves that Jack wanted to wait till my birthday to have s*x. He was a gentleman, and it was the only time it has ever worked out against my favor. I rested my head against his shoulder enjoying his scent and warmth.

        Suddenly we were interrupted by Callum. He came over, tapping me on the shoulder.

        “What is it, Callum?” I asked. He genuinely looked distressed.

        He sighed. “You both are about to miss a lot of school. Jack’s mom is going to kill me.”

        “For what?” We both asked at the same time.

        Callum sighed again. “The Alpha Kings have found their mate, so everyone must meet the new Queen in Crimson Haven. Immediately. All Alpha’s must attend, which means Jack has to go. I’m assuming you’ll want to come with sister?”

        “Yep.” I said with a smile.

        “What’s an Alpha King?” Jack asked as he raised an eyebrow.

        Callum sighed for the third time. “They the Alpha for Alpha’s. They make the rules and keeps the packs in check. Rumor has it that the King and his mate are blessed by the goddess herself, witnessing their union under the first full moon of the month is supposed to being good fortune to your pack. For the first time in Wulfkin history there are three Alpha King’s, and word is they all share one she-wolf. I’m dying to see what she will look like, can you imagine if all three of us shared Lexana? Hence, the reason we are going.”

        I giggled. “Maybe you and Senan can find your mates and finally be out of our hair too?”

        “Keep dreaming, Ell. I doubt that’s going to happen anytime soon. Now, finish dancing and head back to the lodge. We have to pack and be on the next flight.” Callum said before turning around.

        Jack glanced back over to me. “Where’s Crimson Haven?”

        “Alaska.”

    Author here: Don't freak out! I do have a plan. This is the end of the first part of It's Dark Inside. The second part is going to be about separate characters. The third part is going to be about all of them together. So, don't freak about not hearing from Jack and Ell for a while, I promise they will be back. There is a method to my madness, and it's for Ell's benefit. AGAIN, this is only the first part. This was an extremely short chapter, but I didn't want to get farther into it then just randomly break off. To make up for it, I will be adding two chapters of It's Dark Inside part 2.
