After seeing Alice break down in tears because of what some kids were doing to her online — and knowing it was now affecting her schoolwork — I couldn’t just sit back and watch.
I called someone from the IT department at my dad’s company. The guy’s sharp, efficient. Hacking school websites and blogs? Child’s play for him.
Me: There’s this mess going on at the Vilemort students’ website and their blog. There’s a user, user4456 — I want to know who she is. And who approved the article that was posted.
I forward the article to him to be more specific about the one I was referring to.
Almost immediately, he replied: Consider it done.
