Alice’s POV Two days. Two whole days and I hadn’t gotten inspiration for anything. Not that I didn’t try—I did. I tried everything. But every time I got halfway through, the spark fizzled out. I stopped feeling it. Sure, I did draw a picture of Leah and Jane smiling—I saw it on their i********: page and got completely preoccupied with it. But it didn’t feel presentation-worthy. Yes, it was beautiful, but it wasn’t me. It wasn’t my voice. I’m not all smiles and laughter with my work. That’s not my artistic calling. I prefer things deep indigo—perfection beyond the physical.
