Leah and Jane were in the neighborhood. Apparently, some Student Union reps had thrown a party last night. Instead of heading straight back to campus, they decided to stop by for a quick visit.
Liam and Zillion tagged along. Funny thing, I remember Leah once saying that she and Zillion barely spoke, and Liam never gave them the time of day… until I came along.
“The power of a princess — we bring unity,” I joked when she mentioned it.
I didn’t bother telling Brian they were coming. I already knew what his answer would be. So when they said they were nearby, I simply told them to come.
Ever since I snuck into his study two days ago, I hadn’t seen Brian. Not that I was avoiding him — I just made sure I only came downstairs when I was sure he wasn’t around.
