Val laid on Zeke's bare chest running her fingers across it, as the sun peeked through the curtains. Being back in his arms made her feel complete, made her feel loved. Like a part of her that was missing, was put back into place. She had always been strong, she always knew she could take care of herself and survive whatever life threw at her. But this man had become a part of her, and she wanted to be with him always. The sick feeling that had been living in the pit of her stomach over the last thirteen days was gone. The tightness in her chest was gone. Zeke had succeeded in helping her heal. She lifted her head and kissed his cheek. "I love you."   He reached down grabbing her hand, pulling it to his lips.
