SOME TIME LATER, after sunrise, Dean pours coffee into a mug in the motel room and shuffles over to slump down on the sofa and slurp his coffee with tired eyes. He stares into nothing in particular as the bitter, warm drink runs down his throat, giving him small boosts of energy.
Zen continues to read the Supernatural book while Sam looks at the incident reports. Jack stares at Dean, afraid he might lash out and try to kill him again. Castiel leans forward to Jack and whispers, "I told you. He's an angry sleeper. Like a bear."
Jack nods slowly while Zen snickers, " How would you know Cassy?", she teased. The angel blinks in embarrassment and looks down awkwardly while the woman grins and mutters 'Destiel' to herself.
Sam chuckles and says, "Okay, so 'code three' means an officer down. Looks like the victim was—"
"Covered in bite marks. Like from a zombie.", Jack finishes proudly.
Dean rolls his eyes. "Or anything else that has teeth.", he states grumpily and Jack slumps back down on his seat in disappointment.
Zen frowns at Dean and stares at Jack who looked like a kicked puppy at the moment. She cleared her throat and says, "All right, change of plans. Sam, J and I will hit the graveyard. You and Cas hit up the crime scene.", she winks at Cas, who in return glares at her, feeling very uncomfortable. She couldn't help but ship them ever since she saw the Supernatural play in their previous hunt years ago.
"Works for me.", Dean states as he continued to sip his coffee.
Sam, Zen and Jack get up to leave, and Cas rises as well, but Dean holds up one finger, and then points at his coffee. Without a word, Cas sits back down to wait for Dean to finish.
"Ahh.", Dean sighs.

ZEN AND THE boys soon arrived at the funeral home adjacent to the cemetery where the grave robberies occurred. They entered the room and saw a woman wearing pink headphones as she prepares a body for burial with bubblegum pink embalming fluid. Zen looks at the desk and sees a picture of a girl and a guy. She furrows her eyebrows at the image, she knew the man but she just couldn't pin point where exactly she knew him from.
" Excuse me...", Sam says but the lady did not hear him. Zen and Sam share a look before looking back at the lady.
" Excuse me, Miss...", Sam tries again but the woman can't hear them speaking over the music and her back is to them as she works.
Zen rolls her eyes and yells, " Hey! Bandana lady."
Sam nudges her and she gives him a look. " What? She still didn't hear me.", she points at the woman.
" Jeez, how are her ears still functional...", She mutters and Sam chuckles.
" Have you heard the music you and Dean play in the car?", he muses.
She rolls her eyes, " They're classics Sammy. You need to accept it.", she says before going back to catch the woman's attention.
After several attempts to get her attention, she finally turns and is startled to see them standing there.
"Dude! What the hell?", she exclaims as she took her head phones off.
Zen glares at the lady." What do you mean 'what the hell', we've been trying to catch your attention for the past ten mi—"
Sam clears his throat and steps up before his sister could do anymore damage. "Sorry. Sorry, I-I didn't mean to scare– Um, there was no one upstairs."
"Yeah, it's just me.", The woman says.
Sam nods slowly before saying, "And you are..."
The woman crosses her arms. "Athena Lopez, undertaker. And you are?"
"Agent Elliot.", Sam introduces as he showed her his badge.
The woman looked at Zen and the Winchester pulled out her own badge. " Agent Padalecki.", she says and turns to point at Jack, but Jack's wandered off looking around the room.
Sam sighs. "That's Agent Paxton. FBI."
Athena looks at Jack. "He's an FBI agent?", she scoffs. "Did his parents sign a permission slip?"
Zen glared daggers at the woman, she didn't like her already. " Listen, Alice—"
" Athena.", the woman corrects.
Zen sends her a fake smile. " Oh, really? Sor—I really don't care.", She deadpans before continuing, " We didn't just come here so you could insult our trainee. He is also the top of his class so if I were you I'd keep my mouth shut if you got nothing to say that could help us in this investigation. Do I make myself clear? Or are we going to have a problem?", she threatens.
Athena visibly pales as she stared at the angry blonde. " Yes, 'mam. I apologise.", she gulps in fear and embarrassment.
Sam raises his brows at his sister and tried to hide a smirk before looking back at Athena, "Anyway, we're here about the grave robbery. Uh, you live on the premises, right?"
Athena nods. "All my life."
"But according to the police report, you didn't see anyone that night.", Zen states with a brow raised.
"I was out. Amanda Palmer concert.", Athena replies.
Sam furrows his brows, "Amanda Palmer?"
"What about anything weird? Cold spots? Strange smells?", Jack asks all of a sudden. Zen clears her throat pointedly in Jack's direction, since he's not asking the right questions.
" I'm Sorry, I thought they were the right questions..."
Zen's eyes widened as she heard Jack's voice in her head. She looks at Jack and realised he didn't know he talked to her telepathically. She shakes her head and looks back at Athena, she was going to ask Castiel about this later.
"I just said, I wasn't here.", Athena rolls her eyes.
Sam laughs and tries to cover up for Jack while Zen continues to glare at the woman. If looks could kill, Athena would be six feet under ten minutes ago.
"Right. We're just trying to figure out what happened. That's all.", Sam states.
Athena sighs. "You and me both. Look, if you guys wanna check out the grave, the cops have it roped off, over on the west plot.", she states.
Sam gives her a smile. "Great. Thanks. Again, sorry."
They soon walked out the funeral home and into the cemetery. But Zen could feel that something wasn't right.
