QUEEN ENYA’S POV
Never in my long life have I been so consumed with one person. It was to the point where I was neglecting my duties as the Kingdom ruler and was having to rely on my second-in-command, Shula, to carry out many of my responsibilities.
When Aubrey turned up at the house, hysterical because Vida had been poisoned, I wanted to burn the realm to the ground to find her. Aubrey said she was with the Vampire, but I needed to see her for myself to know she was all right.
To my shock, King Hakuryu sat me down and told me to be calm; I thought he would have wanted to join my rampage to find Vida. Even though he and I had been sworn enemies for as long as we could both remember, we had somehow become allies of sorts.
However, Aubrey had complete faith in the Vampire known as Caith
