What was I witnessing right now? Was Tatsuya just teasing, as seemed to be his nature, or were they mates? I really wanted to know but didn’t want to interrupt their interaction.
Haku appeared from nowhere and draped his arm over my shoulder, and instinctively, I leaned into him; I then turned to look at him and subtly indicated the pair with my head.
“Tatsuya, have you found something?” Haku asked, seeing the book in his hand. I noted that this question could have a double meaning.
