VIDA’S POV
I spun around to find everyone but Aubrey standing behind me; it was Kenny who had spoken, and they all rushed towards me.
Kenny went to hug me but halted; I guess he was thinking about what I had previously told him and Hakuryu about no physical intimacy.
I hesitated for a second before throwing myself into his arms. I know I was contradicting myself, but I needed their comfort right now. I hugged them each in turn, including Elida.
“Where is Aubrey? Is she OK?” I asked, finally feeling much better, and I just knew it had to be the bond they all talked about.
“She is out the front; she feels guilty about what happened,” Enya told me.
“I will go and talk to her; I take it you all know Caith?” I said, waving at the Vampire standing nearby, watching everything play out.
