VIDA’S POV
I screamed for Kenny, who was in the door and by my side in an instant. Man, he could move fast. “Something happened to your sister; look,” I said, pointing at the woman with white eyes.
“Oh Vida, I’m sorry we should have explained that,” Kenny said, just as Accalia’s eyes turned back to their normal colour.
“Brother? Why are you here all of a sudden?” Accalia asked Kenny.
“Vida was concerned about you because of the change in your eyes and your lack of acknowledgement; I haven’t had a chance to explain mind-linking yet,” Kenny explained to his sister.
I remember Elida mentioning mind-linking once. It is the ability to talk to others of the same kind in their mind. I suddenly felt really stupid. My face burned with embarrassment.
