VIDA’S POV Sitting in a cell was so boring; at least it was clean and light, not some dark, dank hole in the wall. I sat on the bed in the corner and literally twiddled my thumbs. I had let my mates know where I was and that I was safe. I had to shut the mind-link down quickly as I knew they would all have protested my wanting to stay there. It was fascinating to learn that all of my powers still worked here and that it was most likely caused by the human blood running through my veins; otherwise, I could have been in a very sticky situation. I could vanish from here simply by creating a portal or teleporting myself, so I was not concerned about what might happen.
