VIDA’S POV
Hakuryu landed outside the front of the house; he allowed me to climb off his Dragon’s back and immediately left again. I had really hurt his feelings. I felt like crap. I picked up the box where he had set it down and headed inside.
Why must I be like this? I now have two of my soulmates upset with me; why was I so determined to leave? What was I really scared of?
I trudged into the house carrying the box containing the dagger. Kenny, Enya, and Aubrey were all sitting at the dining table chatting. At least they seemed to be getting along well.
