I was furious when the Beta Werewolf sought us all out in the early hours of the morning to tell us that Vida had had a dream, supposedly as a warning from the Vampire, that someone was trying to kill her.
I wanted to go and collect her straight away and whisk her off to my Kingdom where she would be safe by my side, but the Werewolf, along with the other two, would never have allowed that.
“Calm down, Hakuryu,” The Werewolf said. I’m not sure when we had dropped our titles, but we had, and at this very moment, it irked me. “I think I have a plan to find out who is after Vida,” he continued.
