A breeze stirred ripples as green bamboo swayed and peach trees rocked gently. He walked up to the foot of the mountain and entered the thatched hut. The thatched hut was quiet and deserted, just like any other day. Lu Chen looked at it. Ash grass slowly fell, then settled again. He closed the door and went to lie down on the bed. In the darkness, those strange, ghostly wails echoed again outside the window. He lay quietly in the dark, letting it gradually engulf him. It seemed as if he had fallen into a deep sleep. As night deepened, the wind howled like ghosts, and it seemed that no one remembered the lonely thatched hut at the foot of the mountain.
