Episode 3 The next evening, Emily's nerves were on edge as she waited for Max to arrive. She had spent hours getting ready, trying on different outfits and doing her hair and makeup just right. When the doorbell rang, she took a deep breath and opened the door to find Max standing there, looking dashing in a navy blue shirt and dark jeans. He handed her a bouquet of flowers, and Emily's heart fluttered as she thanked him. They exchanged a brief kiss on the cheek, and the scent of his cologne sent shivers down her spine. Over dinner, they talked some more, sharing stories and laughter. Emily was struck by how easy it was to be with Max, how natural it felt. As the night wore on, they found themselves lost in conversation, the restaurant's noise fading into the background. As they finished their dessert, Max reached across the table and took Emily's hand, his touch sending sparks through her body. "I've really enjoyed tonight," he said, looking into her eyes. "Would you like to do it again sometime soon?" Emily's heart skipped a beat as she nodded, feeling a rush of excitement. "I'd love to," she replied, her voice barely above a whisper. As they walked out of the restaurant, Max suggested they take a stroll along the riverfront. The night air was cool and crisp, and Emily felt carefree and happy, enjoying the company of the man beside her. As they walked, Max told her more about his business and his passions, and Emily found herself feeling drawn to him on a deeper level. She realized she was having the time of her life, and she couldn't help but wonder if this could be the start of something special. But just as things were going smoothly, Emily's phone buzzed with a text from an unknown number: "You're making a mistake, Emily. Don't trust him." Emily's heart sank as she looked at Max, wondering if she was reading too much into the message. Should she confront Max about it, or ignore it and enjoy the moment?
