With their love now out in the open, Emily and Max felt a sense of freedom and joy they hadn't experienced in a long time. They knew that they still had to face the challenges posed by Victor, but they were determined to overcome them together.
As they sat on the couch, holding hands and looking out at the city, Max turned to Emily with a serious expression. "I have an idea," he said. "Let's leave it all behind and start fresh. Just the two of us."
Emily's heart skipped a beat at the thought of starting anew with Max. "I'd love that," she said, smiling.
Max smiled back, relief washing over his face. "I've already made arrangements for us to leave the city. We can start over in a new place, free from all the drama and danger."
Emily's excitement grew. "When do we leave?"
"As soon as possible," Max replied. "We'll leave tonight, under the radar. Victor won't know what hit him."
Emily nodded, feeling a sense of adventure wash over her. She was ready to leave it all behind and start a new life with the man she loved.
As they made their way to the airport, Emily felt a sense of liberation she hadn't felt in years. She was leaving her fears and doubts behind, and embracing a new future with Max.
