Lex's Pov
I was a nervous mess standing outside her room door and doing nothing, I couldn't knock nor could I bring myself to boldly open her door.
Maybe Raven should have taken my place instead. It was stupid to think that I could face a lady whose expression towards my actions was filled with disdain and disgust.
I wanted to go to her to apologize and comfort her but how on earth can I fulfill that promise when I have what it takes to kill her? I tell her to avoid me but I'm here dying to smell her scent and stare into her pretty eyes.
Goddess, I need to talk to Lilia and I need to do it alone while I figure out how to fix the mess in my company and hers. She was wrongfully cursed and it needs to be reversed as soon as possible.
