All eyes were on her.
Everyone was waiting for her to say the words in response to Adam’s question but she took her time, making us wait even more.
Coincidentally, her eyes cut to mine and she immediately glared at me before detaching her eyes from mine. She was mad at me but I was quite excited.
Max lamented, “She is never going to forgive you this time, Josh.”
I chuckled, “I disagree, Max. She is definitely going to forgive me soon. Just watch.”
“It’s been a week since you made her join the team and she has been working her ass out for the betterment of the team. You also made her follow Eric to the corporation every day and this morning, you had the gut to send Adam to drag her down to the training ground.”
