Myka placed the necklace around her neck and turned her to face him so that he could see it from the front.  Myka(proud of his gift): "You look beautiful my love." Aamina was trying hard to fight away the smile, truth was he was learning. The fact that he was willing to loose his hands for something for her was enough to make any Lolonyo woman fall inlove with them. In her tribe that was the only way to a Lolonyo woman's heart. She seen it over and over again the men would half way loose an arm or an leg and the women would heal the men and then when in the dance of luba their voice and rhythms would become one, forming a beautiful song for the Goddesses and then their bodies would come together. Aamina(snapping out of her head): "Make no mistake Grey boy, I only accept, this because you've hurt yourself making it, I still will never, I am a proud Lolonyo woman and I wouldn't dare disrespect my people in falling inlove with a Grey, we could never luba."     Myka(cracked a smile): "You mean, A proud Lolonyo girl, your not yet 18, you have a month left of moons and suns before that happens. Aamina rolled her eyes and tried to walk away but was stopped by Tamar.            Tamar(walking with haste): "Finally I've found you two, Myka your dad is bout to have  a fit, today is your coronation day to be crowned, The Crowned Prince of Aerth, and you two are here playing at the pool you both need to be getting ready!" Aamina(confused): "Why do I need to be getting ready, I thought I was to only be a secret wife of the Kingdom only used for young?" Tymon(walking in cutting into the conversation): "You were, but our allies are becoming restless, they are starting to demand to know the reason why my healthy son hasn't chosen his first wife yet." "And rather let them back out of our deal and start yet another war." "I rather show them that he has found his first wife and watch their jaw drop at the fact that she is Lolonyo, It would put away the image of me being heartless and bring me more followers." Aamina: "But you are heartless, you took everything from me!" Tymon(stepping closer to her): "Listen, the moment you act like my son isn't the best thing that ever happen to you, Is the moment I will show you just how heartless I really am!" Everybody watched Tymon leave with hatred in the heart. Tamar(touching Aamina's face): "I am so sorry dear, I would say he hadn't always been that way but then I would be lying."            At that moment Raider, Tasha, and Mizaya came rushing in the door with look of concern on their face. They thought for sure that Tymon, had caught Aamina praising her Goddesses again and had beat her to a bloody pulp. They all bowed their head once they notice the Queen was in the area. Tasha(still looking down): "I am so sorry my Lady, please forgive me but we have been order to take Lady Aamina back to her room and prepare her." Tamar(waving them off): "Fine, take her away and make sure she is beautiful." Myka waited till everybody left to turn to his mother for advice. Myka: "Ma, do you still remember your song from your Lolonyo days?" Tamar was shocked and smack fire from Myka's face. Tamar(grabbing at her pearls with teary eyes): "What the hell is wrong with you Myka, why would you speak of those things?" Myka(standing back up straight): "I have the right to know that side of me Ma." Tamar: "Quit calling me that I am Mother, you don't speak in the Lolonyo tongue you are a grey!" Myka(cleary frustrated): "Mother just because you made the choice to turn your back on your people, don't mean I have to please tell me the truth why did you abandon your people?' Tamar(began to cry): "It was because of your fa Myka." "Along time ago, the grey and Lolonyo lived side by side, oh son it was so beautiful, until the Grey's became greedy taking more than what they needed from the Land." "Well our chief before Hondo, his name was Mondo." "He drove them out of our land, unfortunately for me that meant your father would have to leave, not that he didn't deserve it but At the time I had just lost my love and your father was their for me when I needed it." Myka: "So you didn't Luba with my father?" Tamar: "Goddesses no, my real love died from a freak accident." "And well your father caught me at my lowest point, so when I heard that he would be leaving I was devastated, and couldn't take him leaving me all alone, so I followed him south into the Wetlands, but once I got there I began to see every thing, but by that time I had lost my Song and my right to call myself a Lolonyo, so I took this as my punishment, and settled. Myka(feeling guilty): "I'm sorry mama, I didn't know." Tamar(wiping the tears from her eyes): "Its okay my child, but if your looking to find your rhythm, you must believe in the Goddesses and offer a gift to them, only then they will acknowledge you and began to give you your Rhythm." Myka: "Wait Rhythm not song?" Tamar: "No son, The men of Lolonyo were gifted Rhythms, debating on your heart and how much love you had for the Land and the Goddesses the Louder the base of your drum, and when it was time for the Luba dance the girls would sing out to find their loves." "first her song and your rhythm would match then your bodies, once that happens nothing but death could keep you two from each other." Tamar patted Myka's shoulders and walked away she knew that her child was going to seek the Goddesses, and all Tamar could do was pray that her son would be safe in his process and that the Goddesses heard her cry finally.
