The rain clouds thundered as trees swayed to the flow of wind. White light cackled as the thunder touched the earth, followed by the rolling sound heard across the land. The yellow sky of the evening sun was taken over by a mass of dark clouds like mushrooms on air as far as one could see. The tall coconut tree and banana plants had bent themselves to the direction of the withering winds. Some of the trees croaked as if it would be their last day seeing the earth and the sky. Then came the rain, first creeping slowly, hardly visible in the wind but then after moments lashed across the earth.
