'Umm, Darsh we will tell this to Aanya and Ishyaa too. Don't think they will want to miss out on ghost hunting right?' asked Aarush as he and Darsh walked by MK road towards their school. The sky was surprisingly still overcast with droplets of fog visible upon window panes and grasses. The sun was still hidden among the clouds. 'Yup, I was also thinking the same thing… hey bud it will be fun watching Aanya run when she sees a ghost' replied Darsh. 'Absolutely...it's gonna be much better than your beehive plan ' said Aarush. Both the boys were grinning widely as they reached the school gates… 'Psst...hey come on say psst back ...hey Ishyaa.' said Aarush taking sidelong glances at Aanya and Ishyaa who were sitting at their back. It was the third period of the day and Mr Bandhopadhyay as usual had drawn two birds on the board. Heavens knew who made him the drawing teacher as kids of kindergarten could draw better than him. Aanya glared at Aarush and mouthed something incomprehensible and then went back to devoting her full attention to Mr Bondhopadhyay's drawing. It was beyond the boys knowledge what made the other students especially the girls to like a teacher as cranky as him. 'Those two douchebags are into sir's head…. Not replying.' whispered Aarush furiously to Darsh. 's**t what's so special about him huh?I mean a ghost is far more interesting than looking at a teacher ?' They started chuckling audibly and were instantly rebuked by Mr Bandhopadhyay who made them stand in the corridor. 'Not againnnn' longed Aarush as he and Darsh walked towards the corridor making faces at the girls. Grrrrrrr ….. the bell rang. The period was over. Both of the boys heaved a sigh of relief as they walked back towards their seat. ' What the hell were you two on about huh?' asked Aanya furiously. 'If it's about that stupid superficial ghost Aarush saw a week back I am gonna punch both of you in the face…..hell, you ruined the class today everyone laughed at us when you two made faces.' Ishyaa added. ' Ghosh… thank goodness sir didn't make us stand outside or i would have fainted….' she added. ' Well um actually it is about that ghost and we are sorry for that but you gotta listen to this.' Darsh said red faced. Aarush stood ruminating on how to save his nose in case a punch landed upon it. 'Get the heck out of her.' yelled Aanya earning the stare of the whole class. ' Okay fine' replied Darsh as he tossed his grandpa's diary on the desk. Both the boys left the class for the PE period flustered and angry…. 'I hate girls they are so stupid heck' said Aarush as he and Darsh sat on the stairs of the portico near the field. They were not even in the mood of playing today. 'Leave them, they are gonna miss the fun, their fault' replied Darsh. One of their juniors had just scored a goal creating a hulabaloo in the field. Another group of children had their ball outside the school campus, and begged the guard to let them go outside which he vehemently disagreed. Some other boys were playing basketball while others were engaged in playing badminton. their sports teacher was sipping chai along with one of the guards. in short, there was a ruckus in the playground. 'Darsh, I forgot to say but my grandpa had grounded me for a week' said Aarush as he just remembered the whole grounding escapade. The whole thing had just clouded in his mind after seeing that diary. He was feeling terribly guilty for forgetting this. 'Woah woah woah u gotta be kidding' replied Darsh but knew his friend was speaking the truth as he turned to face him. 'So you mean you are not going to come today and our ghost hunting is ruined ..heck ..why did I open my eyes huh.' sighed Darsh. It was too much disappointment for him for a day. 'Well yeah I am grounded, but I never said we are not gonna go hunt the ghosts…' said Aarush. 'But how ?' asked Darsh, still disappointed with a hint of surprise. Aarush had previously planned this but was too afraid to tell Darsh. ' We will sneak out of our house when everyone's asleep' he replied. ' Capisce' Darsh said with a proud look on his face as his disappointments disappeared
