Lost and Found by her Alpha

First impressions

Star POV

Well, damn, this is new. I don't know whether to laugh, cry, or be angry. Because there is a beautiful, full figure porcelain skin goddess in the bed of Serenity mate, my mate, our mate, it just hit me now that I think of him as my mate and not just Serenity's mate.  Right now, Serenity wants to do some very unpleasant things to this female, causing me to laugh. c*****g my head to the left, I look at the beautiful, sexy as sin woman ease up from the bed, purring her way across the larger than a bed should be. Taking in the woman, I couldn’t help but compare myself to her. From the looks of her, she looks like she knows what a man would want or needs. Serenity growls in my head.

"You're pretty," I say, catching her eye, ignoring Zane's growl

"Who are you?" ignoring her and the angry wafting off of Zane, I swear if we were in one of those old-time cartoons, steam would be flowing from his ears at this point, and his  face would beat red. That's the only reason I have flipped my switch yet. Why am I choosing to find amusement in this situation instead?

"So, does she come with the room?" I asked in amusement, and he turned to face me with his jaw drop and a confused look on his face. Like he wants to explain but can't find the word to do so. I step further into the room and ignore the confused she-wolf in the room, leaving Zane to deal with whatever that was. Because I really don't want to, and if I were to, murder would be on the menu, and that too messy. This room, though, is amazing. This whole place is amazing, and the rustic wood feeling gives me goosebumps in the right way. It is like a little community stashed away. It was beautiful, and I haven't even seen the full entity of it.

"Get out ", I heard Zane roar, snapping my attention back to what's happening in the background of my perusal.

"Now, Zane, that's no way to deal with... What's your name?" I walked over to the attractive young lady as she was scrambling to gather her things.

"Ashley"

"Sure it is Mandy. Well...”

“Ashley!” she says, like she really thought this was a perfect time for her to speak. Oh Serenity wants to do some very colourful things to her insides. 

“Well it was nice to meet you, but please leave and never return to this bedroom ever. Because even though I find it amusing, Zane is upset. My wolf wants to do some very SAW3 things to your inside. It was nice meeting you. You take care, Lilly" I told her whilst walking her to the door and closing it behind her, and I heard her scream ‘Ashley’ which made me giggle. 

"Well, if first impression was a thing, you failed,, I patted him on the shoulder and turned in the room taking it all in. 

“But this place is something else."

"I'm sorry, that will never happen again. She meant nothing to me" I waved him off.

"You a gorgeous man, with a d**k" I know you're not a virgin, so I'm not bothered." He took two steps closer to me, but I held my hand up to halt him in his tracks because my wolf wanted to tear into him.

"I wouldn’t if I was you, I may not want to tear into you, but Serenity is very much into the idea of peeling your skin off whilst you're awake and sitting in your own piss revenge thing", I shrug my shoulders and his eyebrow rose to higher heights, it was almost comical. Almost! Walking around the room opening doors, I find the biggest closet ever. But it was almost empty, weird.

"Why do you have such a huge closet space but hardly any clothes?”

He rubs his hands down his face and moves a little closer towards me, and I could see it pains him to be unable to touch me.

"This room was designed for the Alpha and the Luna of the pack and generally women have more clothes and junk than men, so I left space for my Luna one day, I left it for you. If there is anything you don't like, you can change to suit yourself."

"Really?" Wow, this mate thing is more of a big deal than I thought. Turning to face him, I ask.

"So what now?" I asked him, and he took another step closer to me, and I ignored it.

"Now, we Start over. Now I will introduce you to the pack and make you my Luna."

"Who said I wanted to be your Luna?". He took my hand in his, and with the next, he caressed my face with his thumb.

"Little mate, please believe me when I say that woman meant nothing to me. I would never jeopardise you like that"

"Oh, no, it's not that. I don't know anything about being a Luna or a wolf, I've lived in the human world all my life, and this is going to take some getting used to. Besides, I have Patrick douchebag to deal with and the protection of my kids. You're an Alpha. You have a pack to take care of. I can't burden you with this." I tell him

"Little mate, you're mine, and that means you are protected."

"But.."

"But nothing, you never have to worry about your kids ever again. They are protected."

"I still think I should find my father," I told him, trying to squash the thrumming on my v****a that he seemed to cause with his closeness.

He let out a soft sigh,

"And you will, we have a summit to attend at his home next week, you can meet him then, I promise you will get to meet him, and I'm sure he will offer his protection also. You don't have to worry about anything anymore; leave that up to me." smiling, I walk over to the balcony opening the sliding door taking in the fresh scent of the forest and people milling about—some in wolf form and some human. I watched everyone go about their business. Almost everyone looked up at me, taking notice of the strange woman now in their territory.

"And what about them?" I ask, "what about them? Will, they be so accepting of my children and me"

"I'm the Alpha, and they will learn to love you as long as you learn to love them too. Being there, Luna means you protect them also, like you children, it's our duty to protect and love them for they are like our children too,'' he explained. I can see the logic, but I know it's not going to be so easy in principle. I turned to him, and he had a weird expression on his face. His eyes were slightly glassy.

"Come, there waiting for us", he snapped out of whatever that was and said to me holding onto my hand and leading me back into the room towards the door.

"Whose waiting for us?" He leads me out the room down the corridor and the stairs to the ground floor into a great dining hall. It looked like a high school canteen. Indeed everyone from before was waiting on us. The kids came over to my side, and I squeezed them. Picking up Princess in my hand and running my hand through Asher's fur. Zane takes a seat at the head of the table and addresses everyone in the room.

"Thanks for coming. As many of you may already know, I have found my mate" there were a few gasps in the room from a few people. He put his hands out for me to come to him, and I followed his lead and took it without hesitation. Like this was the most natural thing in the world, even though his hands were much bigger than mine, but somehow they fit and felt right.

"Everyone, this is Star, my mate"  a few whoops and applause surrounded the now tiny room. Well, it felt like it was getting smaller. s**t, I hate crowds and public affairs.  This made me smile, and my face heated up." he kissed me on the back of my hand and brought me closer to his side.

"These are also her children, and you will all treat them with the respect that would treat us. Yes, I know you all have questions, and I have the answers; since you are my closest family, I thought I should inform you first and let you know what's going on".

"These are my mate adop" I quickly cover his mouth up because I haven't explained this to the kids. Only Nina knows I'm not the kids' biological mother, this is not the way I want to tell them.

"Ahhh Nina, do you mind taking the kids to your rooms for a moment? I will be right up," turning to Zane.

"I take it you have ice cream in this pack, right?" she asks

"Yes,'' he said with a quizzical look in his eyes.

"You remember how to get back to your room,"

"Yeah, come on, princess, let's go get some ice cream" I watched as she led the kids out and the door closed behind her. I waited for the door to close behind her and turn to Zane.

"They don't know, and I would appreciate no one telling them."

"Tell them what?" Zane mother ask

"I'm not their real mother", and everyone stares bored into Zane.

"It's complicated, as I was saying," I let Zane explain the situation with the kids, as I waited for the uproar to come.

"How do you not know that you're a wolf?" Nicholas, the beta, asks

"Simple, I grew up in foster care, and on my 16th birthday, a strange voice in my head told me I was a wolf and then shifted on the first full moon and got kicked out then roamed the streets for a while. I came across a bar looking for work, and that's where I found out who my parents are."

"And who are your parents?" his mother asks, but before I could answer, the door open and in came a pretty young woman,

"Do you all know that there's a human roaming around our kitchen?" she asked, coming to a stop when she realised there were so many eyes on her.

"Your back" she ran over and threw herself into Zane's arms, and a twinge of jealousy flared up in my middle.

He hugged her back. "Hey, Stitch, good to see you" she lifted her head from his shoulders, stepped back, raised her hand back and punched him dead in the jaw."

"You ass, you left me", she spat. He brushed it off like that didn't even hurt.

"Aurora, this is Star, my mate, Star, this is my baby sister. As you can see she packs a punch," he said, moving his jaw from side to side. She straightens up and turns to look me up and down. Walking towards me, she circles me examining me from head to toe.

"As I was saying" Zane pulled the room's attention back to him, and explained what's happening with Patrick and their pack.

"Those poor babies. Now don't you worry yourself you're all safe here" Zane mother says

"Now, because clearly, I failed as a mother with this one, my name is Angela Dawkins, welcome to our pack" she came over and hugged me, again surprising me with her strength and I smiled.

"I think I need to go have some ice cream, with my new grand babies," she said and left the room.

"Star, this Nicholas, my Beta and best friend since diaper, along with Darren and Alex, my Gamma, who will be in charge of the children's guards. 

"I need you to get two more warriors on the team to guard the kids including Nina." I tell them
