Mr Rao (frustrated): Who will make him understand the seriousness of the situation?
Gayathri (with a smile): Don"t worry Rao sir, we will solve it out.
Mr Rao (puzzled): But how, my dear?
Gayathri (comforting): Have a bit more patience Rao sir. I know Ravi well and believe in his integrity and capabilities.
Mr Rao makes a gesture to communicate: Whatever!
Meanwhile Ravi meets Vipul at the hospital
Vipul (with an inviting smile): Hi, met Anjana?
Ravi (receptively): No, will meet her tomorrow. I came to meet you, Doctor.
Vipul (professionally): What can I do for you?
Ravi: Can you please tell me the truth about Anjana?
Vipul: See, in here, she can be saved. We all are working towards it.
Ravi (with a sigh): Thank you, Doctor.
Ravi leaves the hospital convinced of Shrikar and Vipul"s innocence. And fed up of his boss"s constant pressure, he calls Mr Rao to know about the status of the deal.
Ravi (with respect): Good evening sir, how did the deal go?
Mr Rao: That Deal is currently hung. But tomorrow some other potential buyers are also coming. Hope we will be able to crack it with one of them. Won’t you be available tomorrow?
Ravi (promising): By all means. Tomorrow afternoon, I will be totally at your service, Sir.
Mr Rao (seriously): Not just mine alone. If no deal happens in a day or two, we are all doomed.
Ravi (assuring): No sir, in a day or two we will get a deal struck. Have a good night, sir.
Ravi signs out for the day; and the ambiance focuses itself to the busy city streets.
Next morning, bearing in mind everything that has happened, Ravi goes to meet Anjana.
He is seated in the cafeteria when Anjana comes running to the table and even before taking her seat asks him out of excitement:
Anjana (excited): So, did you find anything?
Ravi (detached): Anju, dear, just control yourself. Your assumptions are all wrong. Shrikar comes everyday to the hospital to see you and so does Vipul to give you medical attention. I couldn"t detect any shady designs in their movements.
Anjana (exploding due to frustration): I am afraid, you did some superficial investigations only. Did you follow Shrikar in to the hospital? No you didn"t. Right?. Then how can you be so sure? I have been repeatedly told for the past couple of days that Shrikar has visited me and I have turned violent every time when he left. But I do not remember anything about me turning violent. Why haven’t you heard anything about these false reporting? Enough of your inept investigations! Now, you know what? You mind your own business. OK?
Ravi (equally frustrated): That"s what I am going to do. I, too, am under a lot of pressure in life. But still I came here for you. I wasted my two days and this is what I get. Now, I will mind my own business. Good bye.
Anjana (helplessly crying): Ravi, you know what? Shrikar was already married, before I met him and has a son, too. Making me turn violent is part of their evil designs on me. So, please don’t forsake me.
Ravi (angry): I have been after him for the last two f*****g days and I couldn’t find anything fishy. I am sorry to say this Anju, but I am afraid, you are going crazy. I don’t think I can help you out of this. Please excuse me.
Ravi, in a state of extreme anger, abandons the place even before Anjana could react.
Anjana"s life instantly turns utterly hopeless, without even her backbone to support her claims. She freaks out like a mentally unstable subject. She becomes so uncontrollable that she is administered with multiple sedatives before being wiped off to her cell.
