Amelia's P.O.V I paced back and forth in the waiting room. A heavily pregnant woman was sat with a young child, a little girl still dressed in her duckling covered light blue pyjamas. She was smiling as she sat on the chair, swinging her legs but the large bruise that was beginning to form above her left eyebrow suggested that maybe bedroom gymnastics had go a little too far tonight. Or maybe she tripped over the toys on the way to brushing her teeth, her mother had told her to pick them up before bedtime or she wouldn't get a story read to her.
