One.
Two.
Three.
Cole and Abby burst through the doors minutes later.
"What happened we hear-" Abby trailed off as she saw the scene in front of her.
In front of me stood a naked Grayson with blood coming out his leg because he decided to protect that w***e of his and behind him on the bed was where Angela had run of to to save her sorry of a life.
"How could you do this to me Grey?" I whispered pointing my gun at him.
"Please don't kill her." He said.
The reason what they were both still alive is because I was too angry and lashed out irresponsibly by shooting around them but the stupid Grayson decided to play hero and move where the bullet was shot then it hit him in his thigh. Otherwise I never miss.
"We're done." I said before walking out.
"Drive." I growled as we all got into the car. Cole's eyes met mine through the rear view mirror before he just drove like how I instructed him to do so.
A few minutes later we stopped in front of the shooting range. He knew it always cheered me up.
***
We walked in through the cosy restaurant and all my anger dissipated as I recalled all the memories from my college life that I had spent at Rosie's. I had my two best friends as how it used to be the only people missing were Rosie herself and oh well...Grayson.
"Go find us a table I just wanna say hi to Marco." I told Cole and Abby and they nodded. On my way to the front counter I had slipped on something and I was waiting for my body to hit the ground but it didn't. Instead strong arm were wrapped around my torso tightly and his manly cologne assaulted my senses in the best ways. I slowly opened my eyes to be met with his dark blue ones. His jaw was sharp and perfect. He looked like a Greek God fallen from heaven. His perfect eyebrows furrow as he looks at my eyes wandering all over his body and taking in his entire appearance. Well...this was awkward.
"Uhm...I-" as I stuttered to apologize. What? I never stutter.
A very sweet but stern voice called from behind and my heart swelled with happiness.
"Ace." Rosie Cortheart, the owner of the restaurant and the only mother figure that had got me to feel again.
"OH and you brought a girl- wait! Lili? Is that you?" She exclaimed.
I carefully untangled my body from this man's. I tightly hugged Rosie as she patted my back and I immediately felt tears sting my eyes. She always knew how to make me feel so vulnerable.
"Sweetie are you alright?" she asked and it took everything in me to not break down right there and then. Rosie was the mother figure I never had. She knew me through and through.
"Well come, come and eat you both look so thin." Rosie said as she literally pushed us into a booth.
"Sit tight I'll get you something to eat." She said as she vanished.
I took out my phone and texted Abby and Cole that they didn't have to worry about me I was okay.
Abby:
Heads up Grayson and b***h walked in.
I looked up after reading the text and there I saw him looking back at me. But then I also noticed he wasn't the only starring our way. I looked around and the restaurant had now fallen into hushed tones of whispers and murmurs.
Me:
What's up with everyone looking at me?
Abby:
Because you are with Mr. King.
Mr. King? I looked up only to find him looking back at me. I have never seen him in person but I was pretty sure he was one of the King's. I put my phone away because it was rude to be on it while sitting with someone. I cleared my throat then looked at him.
"Mr. King I want to apologize for everything up till this point but you have no right to park in my family parking." I said in my professional voice as I looked at him. Yes I definitely was not letting this go. I didn't care if was him or one of his brothers but I am confronting one of them about it. He smirked. He f*****g smirked! He is definitely guilty.
"It was emptier than the others and my car can't be seen in an underground parking." he said prideful.
I scoffed.
"Intitled much?" I mumbled.
" Pardon?"
"I said you are an Intitled proud ass that's all."
"How do you know her?" He asked lowly referring to Rosie changing the topic entirely. I could tell he was very protective over her. But so was I.
"What were you doing at my work?" I asked him firmly not letting it rest.
"You didn't answer my question." he grumbled.
"And you didn't answer mine." I stated.
"How do you know her?" he asked again.
"None of your business." I said. His lips twitched and it was my turn to smirk.
"There I answered now your turn." I said looking at him innocently. His eyes bored into mine in a hard glare and in return I didn't even flinch.
Just then Angela walked up to us.
"What do you think you're doing?" She snarled at me. I glared at her. The type of glare that made most of my investors piss their pants.
"Shouldn't you be somewhere f*****g other people's boyfriends?" I lazily glared at her.
She scoffed but I interrupted.
"Whatever it is I'm sure it's non of your business." I said grimly.
"See I knew Grayson was not the only one cheating in this relationship. How else would you move on that fast?" She said gesturing to Mr. King. I looked at him and he stared right back at me with a raised brow.
When I didn't say anything Angela was to say more but Grayson grabbed her from behind and pulled her back.
"I'm s-sorry Mr. King. We didn't mean to disturb your dinner." Grayson stuttered. I kept my eyes fixed on Mr. King's not sparing Grayson a single glance.
"Well you did. Get her away from my stuff." I was shocked to realize the words came from Mr. King himself. Upon hearing this they both scurried away like little mice.
His stuff ?
