CHAPTER EIGHT Ben stood with a mischievous glint in his eyes. “I hope monetarily, but a feast at the end of this endeavor will do.” Dreda rolled her eyes and dropped her arms to her sides. “So ever like your father.” “Not quite,” Ben countered as he offered me a hand and helped me to my feet so we faced one another.
