In the atrium backstage at the Richmond Coliseum, Geo stepped back to take a good look at Larry. With his hands on Larry’s arms, he even said it out loud—“Let me get a good look at you,” then shook his head and smiled that sunny grin Larry remembered so well. “God, you haven’t changed a day. You still look so damn fine.”
“Me?” Larry laughed. “Look at you! Small-town boy hits it big, blowing up my radio. The moment I heard your song in the car, I knew it was you. I’d know that voice anywhere. I told my daughter, I know that guy!”
