Chapter 11

686 Words
We spent the next few days in my hotel room wrapped up in the sheets together. Every part of my body ached yet craved him at the same time. My fingers are constantly running across his body and his hands never stopped touching mine. We couldn’t get enough of each other. We would lay down and start a movie and within seconds be on top of one another. He took me across the table when we ate breakfast as if the food wasn’t delicious enough to please his hunger. Every movement was filled with electricity. Every breath is accelerated by the smallest touch or kiss. Every glance connected us deeper in a way never before. I never wanted to leave his arms, they were made to be around me. I would just sit and memorize his facial expressions. The way his eyes squinted when he laughed. The way his smile filled the room with life. He spent hours telling me stories about his childhood. He would play with my hair when my head was laying on his chest. He would pull me close just to cuddle. The way his laugh grew every time he tickled me or chased me around the hotel room. The way his voice was so sensual and sexy it caused goosebumps to rise on my skin. He watched me in ways I never have seen before. His eyes looked at me differently than anyone else's ever had before. He would lay next to me letting his fingers trace my body like he was trying to remember every detail. He would place his hand on my heart as we laid side by side facing each other. We became completely and utterly consumed with each other. ------------------------------------------------- "I can't move anymore. Don't. I can't. My side is killing me." I laughed trying to block the pillow from hitting me. "I just love listening to your laugh." He says between laughs as he gets me with the pillow again. "That's it!" I warned him. "You are so dead." I grab the pillow from my side and stand up on the bed ready to pounce when all of a sudden his phone rings. I dropped to my knees as we both tried to control our laughter so he could answer his phone. "Hello." Cody says into the receiver pausing for a minute before responding. "Oh, awesome. Yeah, I'll be there. What time? Okay. See you then." Turning to look at me Cody says, "Well, it looks like it's back to the real world. Jordan needs some help setting up the music for the bar tonight." "Wow. Where has this week gone?" I hadn't realized until this moment that we have been in this hotel room for days. "It was well spent to say the least." Cody wraps me in his arms pulling me back down on the bed. "Do you work tonight?" "Yeah, I think I'm scheduled to work the next few nights actually." I responded. "Okay, well I'm going to go catch up with Jordan. You probably need to heal before we spend another week in this hotel room." He winks at me. "Yeah, but next time you will be the one sore when we are done." I seductively respond. "Oh, baby. I already am." He kisses my forehead before getting up to gather his scattered things. "Get a hold of me later, we will figure out when we can see each other again. OK?" He asks when I walk him to the door. "Yes, sir." I say, causing him to twitch his eyebrow. "Don't tease. I'm already regretting leaving." He pulls me in close and kisses me before walking out the door. I turn my back to the door and lean against it. I honestly don't think I can even move. I look at the clock, it's only one. I've got a good four hours I can nap before I need to get ready for work tonight. With that last thought I lay back on the bed and snuggle into the sheets that smell like him and before dozing off.
