Cassie wouldn't stop staring at Ryan as he was driving. He noticed her eyes on him but paid no attention.
She was seated, beside him inside his car as he was driving her home.
When they reached the housing estate, it was already some minutes past ten at night. The estate gate has been locked from inside and no security guard at the entrance would let them in.
"Oops! It escaped my mind. I was informed about the new development of locking the estate gate by ten every night to prevent what happened to my dad from repeating itself" Cassie voiced out
"What the heck are you talking about? Why didn't you tell me that before I drove here?" Ryan flared up
"I didn't know we were gonna get hooked by the traffic. Thought we are gonna get here before ten" she mumbled, playing with her fingers.
