Though The Imposter King is a work of pure fiction, there is much fact to be found among the fantasy. Behind the fantastical elements is a world culture I truly adore, with its own rich history and monumental human achievement. For this reason, I tried as closely as possible to settle elements of the story against a historically accurate backdrop, and I hope that effort shows.
