“Hmmm…you’re hunting the wrong animal here, Mr hunter,” said Eryndor to himself as he ran his fingers through the files oh his desk.
He opened one of them and exhaled deeply as he read with a straight face.
Application of entry into the realm of light: denied
Application of supplies approval from the realm of light: denied
“Denied? How can this be? The god of light has asked me to fill in for him in the celestial chamber as a fellow hierarchy. For what purpose was my application denied?”
The look of frustration was clearly visible in his eyes because these supplied a were more important than the rest of the scroll he sent out for application.
He clenched his fists in anger and tightened his chin as he stared at the door in front of him. “This could’ve been the work of that destroyer. I’m far too smart to be one of his victims. He can continue to prey on other gods but not me. I’ll confirm from thd god of light before making any decisions I’ll regret.”
It’s another day in the Celestial council chamber. It was filled with gods of all kind. A few high ranking gods and then those from the inferior counsel.
Eryndor vale sat at the top, no surprise there. His hand supported his head and his elbow laid fervently on the armrest of where he sat.
His eyes lurking carefully round the ro, seeing everything and everywhere. His right leg crossed above his left, elegantly as ever. In control.
Kaedros Halvek sat there with a scowl look on his face. One could tell the summoning of the gods for these matters had started to get on his nerves.
Caelion stole glances at the expression on Eryndor’s face but threw his vision away with no surprise.
“No expression on his face when happy, frustrated, proud, or in objection. What an image you’ve built for yourself, God Vale,” Caelion said to himself with a straight face.
Lysithea stood in the middle of the court while waving her hands. The tampered scrolls swung over to her and she began to read what was on them.
“Lets see how you continue this game of endurance, God Vale,” Caelion thought to himself while showing no facial expression.
He didn’t report his messages? Looks who’s trying to play mind games,” Caelion threw his gaze to Lysithea whose had her eyes fixated on him.
He didn’t look away at all but stared at her until she gave up. Looking away would’ve painted him as guilty.
Caelion was trying to avoid any form of suspicious after what occurred this morning. Selmira Noctis, goddess of the moon was able to detect his shadows from such a distance.
He ordered his shadows to return back to his realm but he was the only one who had access bacl and forth since he was the one who brought them along.
He was saved because Selmira and Lysithea had thought it was the same cause that drove Caelion mad.
The room went in an uproar after the announced message.
“What?”
“How can this be?”
“By who’s authorization?”
“What?!” Kaedros questioned furiously. “Every application of supplies from the realm of light was dismissed? On what grounds? For what purpose and why the hell are the gods from that realm never present in this meeting?!”
His lamentation tensed up the room
“You’re causing a scene, Kaedros,” Selmira pointed out with a soft tone.
“Of course I am. We need to address this issue fast before the real problem kicks off. We’re partner realms that help each other collectively so what happened today. Did the representatives of the realm of light just decided that their supplies are too good for us?” Kaedros cried out.
“Let’s decease from jumping into conclusions without knowing with reason for this sudden decision,” Lysithea added.
While the whole room were throwing self opinions right and left, Eryndor was perplexed trying to understand why the realm of light would make such a decision.
“Does this mean the destroyer has no business with this issue?” Eryndor asked himself.
“There you go, Eryndor. That pondering look on your face is what I needed right now. Today’s mission was a success,” Caelion said to himself.
“The realm of light has always been like this.”
“They take nothing of us, Lysithea,” a small deity blurted in muttering tone. “They’ve been this way for the longest of time.”
Lysithea turned her face in ignorance and turned to Eryndor vale. “Have you no self opinion on this matter, Eryndor?”
“No, you are free to come up with a conclusion but I’d still point out that we should hear from the second party before judging them,” Eryndor highlighted his opinion.
“Selmira?”
“Eryndor vale is right. We should seek answers from the realm of light before coming to a conclusion,” Selmira supported.
“Kaedros?”
“Majority has already decided the vote. You can carry on with what the both of them suggested,” Kaedros agreed.
As the conclusion of the meeting drew close, so did the conclusion of day. Night had started to creep in faster than Caelion had expected. He could tell by how uncomfortable he’s been feeling but tonight was way worse.
He air around him had started to feel stale. His shadows were on the verge of leaping out of his body.
“What the heck is going on?” He spoke into his shoulder like they’re was a voice behind him.
“Intruder, intruder. Outsider. Not from this realm,” his shadows had began to go haywire so he quickly ran out of the court before he drew any attention.
“Now!” He ordered. Caelion slipped into pitch darkness. The return was faster than ever but when he returned to his realm, things wasn’t as peaceful as he left them.
“Who are you and why are you in this body?”
“Who are you and why are you in this body?”
“Who are you and why are you in this body?”
“Who are you and why are you in this body?”
A dark muscular horse with three heads cried out while running around the darkness.
