[Thane's POV]
I’ve been watching her from a distance for several days now, making sure she’s safe at the penthouse. Mike occasionally reports when some members of Black Moon are lurking around, but it seems they haven’t discovered Elinor’s presence there.
I’m quite worried about leaving her alone without the mark I should have given her. I haven’t been able to approach her for the past few days, and even whether she desires me is still a question.
‘Sir, where are you?’ Mike asked through a phone call.
"Penthouse. What’s going on?" I replied, making sure nothing bad had happened.
‘It seems Black Moon is playing games with us. They’ve started abducting members who seem easy to manipulate,’ Mike explained, further fueling my anger toward Black Moon.
