Anne’s wedding party continued into the evening. The atmosphere felt different as the dance music played, guiding the guests to the dance floor. I saw couples starting to dance together, and the scene was so romantic.
I also saw Anne enjoying her dance with her husband. They looked so affectionate and were clearly enjoying the pleasant music. Not everyone was on the dance floor, like Thane and me. We remained seated in our spot since we arrived.
Suddenly, Anne pulled me aside and whispered, “Hey, are you just going to let him sit there? Don’t you hear how perfect the music is for dancing?”
I felt embarrassed when Anne said that. She didn’t know what was happening between Thane and me. Of course, he would refuse if I asked him to dance. Just thinking about asking him made me nervous.
