CH.5 ~ MATE PART 2

524 Words
JASON'S P.O.V.     Hahaha. She's a cutie. Too bad I'm waiting for my mate.     "Jay! What's taking so long, hurry up dammit!" my best friend yelled through our mind link.     "Hold your horses! I just need two minutes." I responded.     "You're going to make us late to the next match. How bout we just meet up at the track?" He suggested.     "OK. See ya at the track Lili." I answered, knowing the nickname annoys him.     "Stop calling me that Uzy." He responded, knowing I hate that name.     "Only if you stop calling me that Lil."     "Jamy."     "Miah."     "ENOUGH! You guys are giving me a headache." yelled my sister, making me flinch.     "Sorry... sis... Iona..." we responded in unison.     "Alright. Now shut the f**k up and get to the track.' she commanded.     During all this, I somehow finished getting ready and ended up running into someone.      "Watch where your walking kitten," I said annoyed.     "Excuse me! Who do you think you are!" she yelled, sending shivers down my spine. It was hard but I managed to hide it. I started telling her off. Hoping she'll be at least a little intimidated but turns out she wasn't even paying attention!     "Are you even listening to me!?! Hello. Anyone home?" I asked getting a little panicked, snapping my fingers in her face. Thinking maybe I knocked into her a little too hard.     "Get your hands away from me! Why would I want to listen to some dummy who doesn't even have any manners!?!" she yelled.     I was shocked out of my mind. Yet at the same time, I was angry she would dare to disrespect me. Especially in public. Everyone knows me, everyone knows how I get when someone disrespects me. My thoughts were interrupted when she started laughing.     "Why do you look like that?" she asked. Seeing her smile made me forget about my anger and show a part of me that no one besides my closest friends and family know about. Then reality quickly set in, seeing everyone watching us made me put on my cold face again.      "What do you mean?" I asked feigning confusion, trying my hardest to fight down my growing smile.     "We're going to miss the next match hurry up Joker!" someone interrupted.     "Stop calling me that!" the beauty responded, who I learned is Joker. Huh, what a strange name. I wonder if that's from the movie. 'Just like you' my wolf, Joaquin, informed me. 'True, but they don't call me Jason for nothing. I wonder if it's true for her.' I questioned.     "Calling you what?" her friend asked, acting innocent.     "Stop calling me Joker! You dimwit!" Joker yelled, obviously getting angry.      "But that's your name right?" she continued, as a smirk grew on her face.     "Ugh you irritate me sometimes but I still love ya. Let's get going before you get me angry or worse get her angry," she warned, half-jokingly, I hope. With that, they walked away to their next match. Speaking of which, I should be getting to mine. Awww, I wish we could have stayed and had a longer conversation. Minus the people. Minus the interruptions. Minus our...
