Mia looked at the couple which was reluctant to go.
She sighed, ' this is why l hate people argh ' she rolled her eyes.
" Okay fine, you leave me with no choice.l will have to bring in the dogs "Mia said seriously
" Mama Mia we just need you to help us please..." The couple pleaded with Mia
" Look here, my job is to read the future of your love life not to change it. That is definitely beyond my control "She said seriously
The couple did not budge. Mia sighed. She took out her cellphone and dialed a number
" August l ran into a little problem at the tent. Can you bring me those back up dogs right now" Mia said through the phone and cut the call.
The two lovers remained rooted at where they were.
' They think lam joking ?, wait till they see my dogs . They will be running till Kingdom Come , ' Mia sneered inwardly
' But l could actually make some more dollars if l just pretend to remove my stupid curse from their lives Mia thought again looking at her unfortunate preys In front of her eyes
' On second thought, watching those two running from her dogs was actually more fun than getting just a few thousand dollars. So the dogs it was'
Within a few minutes barking was heard from behind the tent. The two lovebirds widened their eyes as it dawned on them that Mia was not bluffing.
The back of the tent opened and in came two big , vicious dogs barking loudly.
" Give me the leash August" Mia said without looking at her back. August handed her the leash. On her face was a very devilish and mischievous smile.
August and Mia had known each other since they were kids. August was brought in as a servant at Mia's home when she was ten and had served as Mia's maid, friend and Bodyguard. The two of them had been inseparable. The only time they separated was when August went to Military training. After that they had both moved out of the Roberto Mansion where Mia's parents lived and started running around the world hiding from Mia's Mom in every way
they could. Since then, they had been inseparable.
Mia started approaching the couple with her dogs. One of the dogs almost bit the girl. She slipped, fell down and fainted on the spot.
" Did you see that ? " August was almost crying with laughter.
" Now, your lover is down lover boy" Mia said advancing toward the guy with the dogs barking and growling.
They were about to pounce when the guy took to his heels and ran for his life, leaving the girl lying on the floor.
Mia and August laughed out loud.
" So today it seemed my reading was right. Look lover boy left his damsel in distress and ran for his life" Mia said matter-of-factly
" And you tell me to love someone ?, when l see this" Mia laughed
" Oh how much did you make from that ?" August asked while still laughing
" Five thousand" Mia showed her proudly while dancing around
" Congratulations once more Mama Mia" August said sarcastically
" I think one of these days you should pretend to be a Sharma and l will be your right-hand woman." Mia looked at her with shock.
" And you say lam the crazy one" She shook her head
" Come on look at this. I
will pretend to be possessed...mmm.. let's say by a spirit of a dead person, and you will pretend to cleanse people, you see ?"
" That does sound inviting, we should actually try that" Mia could not help but be amused
" Oh tomorrow l have to prepare for the wedding, I almost forgot" Mia remembered suddenly and started packing
" Actually there is something else more urgent" August said hesitantly
" And that is ? " Mia asked absent-mindedly
