" where am l meeting this guy?" Mia asked August as they both got into the back of their car.
" Take a guess " August teased her
" Iam not in the mood right now " Mia sighed and looked outside
" C Plaza Hotel " August half replied to Mia and half told the driver .
Soon the car pulled at the front of the most famous hotel in the City and they both got out .
Mia could not help but gasp in shock,
" So it really is as grand as they say ..wow l should thank this guy right?" Mia looked questioningly at August
" And you didn't want to go to this date huh? Don't admire the hotel you were running away from going " August shrugged
" And for the record , l should be the one who should be awed by such a big hotel not you . Mia your family is one of the richest in the whole country and here you are being awed by such a hotel ...ugh "
" You know l was never intrigued by such things , and also ' for the record ' l never had such a luxury after dad died " Mia answered
There was silence between them . August did not know what to say . Mia's dad died when Mia was still sixteen . From then on she had been schooled away from home , lived away from home and did almost everything away from home .
" Let's forget all of these things okay ? And get you inside for your date ." August was quick to go back into reality
" What ? No!"
" Let's keep talking" Mia said
' This drama queen again ' August thought with exhaustion
" Mia your date is waiting for you and you want to talk Mia ... you want to talk ? " She was almost shouting
" Shhh August , relax okay ... I have to keep him waiting okay ? Those are the rules . The girl keeps the boy waiting so that the b..." she could not finish what she was saying as August had already held her from behind and was dragging her into the hotel .
" Hey ! Hey ! What are you doing Hey !!" Mia was shouting .
" Your stupid rules will be the death of you today" August said not loosening her grip even when they entered into the elevator.
When August saw that they were approaching their table she loosened her grip on Mia. Mia had not realized that they had already arrived and just as the hold on her back was loosened , she hastily turned around and faced August . Although Mia was just a few inches shorter than August their closeness made their heights seem miles away apart .
" Ho ho ho ho " Mia smirked " Now you deserve what's coming for you " she smiled in satisfaction as she yanked on August's hair
" Your date is watching " August whispered into Mia's ears as they were very close
" And you think l will buy tha..." Her words were cut short as she turned and saw her supposed date staring at them .
She quickly turned back to face August , her hand still in her hair .
" That's my date ? " Mia whispered while slowly retracting her hand from August's head
" Oh no , that's just the waitress " August smiled at her mockingly
Suddenly Mia put more strength in holding August's hair
" Hey what are you doing ? " August panicked
Mia turned around and smiled wickedly at their date .
" I have brought the wrong outfit today " she took out her phone and texted someone . With a huge mischievous grin on her face , she dragged August away
