NICOLE "No pressure, I just don't want to keep you in the dark," Micheal spoke again, breaking the silence. I stood up to return the box to his kitchen. I brought out some pain relief I found in the box and gave him a glass of water to use with it. "Thank you," Micheal smiled and I nodded. I checked the time on my wristwatch, and it was past midnight. "I need to leave now," I said, already picking up my purse on his central table. "I'm sorry that I couldn't take you back home.
